Two men were seriously injured this morning when two Harley Davidson motorcycles crashed into each other.  The accident occurred at 1 am on US 41.  According to the St. Pete Times, "John J. Odonnell, of Odessa, was driving his 1986 Harley northbound in the outside lane of U.S. Highway 41 behind the 2004 Harley of Chad M. Canady, of Wesley Chapel, when, for unknown reasons, Odonnell struck Canady. Both drivers were thrown off their bikes."

As most motorcycle accidents, the drivers of the motorcycles were seriously injured.  One was taken to Tampa General Hospital in critical condition.  The rise in motorcycle accidents in Tampa Bay is alarming and is an almost daily occurrence in the Tampa Bay area.
